About this course:

In this course, you will learn how to create projects using microcontrollers that are capable of interpreting information from the environment and are able to execute actions in the physical world. You will find out how some of the electronic devices that we see around us work and will learn how to create your own intelligent objects, integrating programming and electronic circuits.

You will learn to:

  • Understand what a microcontroller is and what are its applications
  • Identify sensors and actuators in day-to-day objects
  • Discover how simple electronic devices around you work
  • Create interactive projects using microcontrollers, sensors and actuators
  • Build electronic circuits and program them to create intelligent objects that interpret information and act in the physical world

Materials:

Below is a list of the components you will need to follow the courses: "Electronics: concepts and basic components", "Physical computing" and "Intelligent connected objects".

Components list for courses 3, 4 and 6

We also point out some vendors who offer the listed components, to assist you in the acquisition process - however, how you will purchase the items is at your discretion.

As these are hands-on courses, it is important that you have access to the materials on the list before the courses start, so you can get the most out of the lessons.
